CAI CA Final May 2025 Results Declared, Pass Percentage Revealed
New Delhi, July 6, 2025 — The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the CA Final results for the May 2025 session, bringing relief and celebration to thousands of aspirants across the country. Candidates can now check their results on the official websites — icai.nic.in and icaiexam.icai.org — using their roll number and registration number. This year, the pass percentage has continued to reflect the exam’s rigorous standards, with only a small percentage of candidates clearing the final hurdle to becoming Chartered Accountants.
As per ICAI’s official data, the overall pass percentage for both groups combined stood at approximately 15–20%, in line with past trends. Group-wise, around 17–22% of candidates cleared Group I, while 21–25% passed Group II. These results underline the demanding nature of the CA Final exam and the consistent high standards upheld by ICAI. In comparison, the November 2024 session saw 16.8% pass in Group I, 21.36% in Group II, and 13.44% overall. May 2024 had slightly better outcomes, with 27.35% for Group I, 36.35% for Group II, and a combined 19.88% pass rate.
Successful candidates from the May 2025 attempt are now eligible to register for ICAI’s Campus Placement Programme, scheduled for August to September 2025. Registrations for the same will begin between July 10 and July 20. Those who cleared the exam in earlier attempts but did not participate in previous placements can also apply. Candidates unsatisfied with their results can apply for revaluation and verification through ICAI’s online portal. Pass certificates will be issued within 60 days of the result declaration.
The ICAI CA Final exam remains one of India’s toughest professional examinations, and the May 2025 results reaffirm its highly competitive nature, with only the most dedicated aspirants crossing the finish line.
