Politician’s Growing Popularity Allegedly Behind the Threat; Police Assure Swift Arrest

A major security concern has arisen in Bihar politics as Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief and Union Minister Chirag Paswan was allegedly threatened with a bomb attack via a journalist’s Instagram account.

Party leaders claim that a chilling threat was posted targeting Chirag Paswan, warning that he would be “blown up with a bomb.” The message has been reported to the Cyber Police Station, and an FIR has been filed.

“I demand the immediate arrest of the accused. Strictest punishment must be ensured,” a senior party spokesperson told the media.

Political Motive Suspected Behind Threat

LJP leaders believe the threat stems from Chirag Paswan’s rising popularity, especially ahead of the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. They allege that some political forces are rattled by his increasing public support and may be attempting to intimidate him through such threats.

“People are scared of his growing influence… but let me tell you, Chirag Paswan is a lion’s son,” said a visibly emotional party worker.

FIR Registered, Police Promise Action

The matter is now under investigation by cybercrime authorities. Police officials at the cyber police station have promised immediate action, and top-level officers have reportedly been briefed.

“We’ve filed the FIR and will follow up with senior officials,” the complainant added.

Chirag Confirms 2025 Assembly Run, Vows Youth-Centric Policies

In the same press conference, Chirag Paswan confirmed that he will contest the Bihar Assembly elections, responding to growing speculation.

He reiterated his commitment to youth employment, restoration of domicile policies, and equitable development in Bihar, criticizing previous state governments for scrapping local hiring policies.

“When RJD was in power in 2023, they removed the domicile policy. We will bring it back to give Bihari youth their rightful opportunity,” Chirag declared.

He also spoke emotionally about past betrayals and challenges within his family and party, claiming that efforts to sideline him have only made him stronger.
